The new Airush Livewire V6 2019 is your tool for all forms of freestyle and wakestyle mayhem for boot enthusiasts. The HD Grindrite sintered grind base and deep channel and concave combo bottom, in conjunction with the highest rocker in the range, make this the most aggressive and durable freestyle and wakestyle board in our range. Ready to tackle both the beach and the cable park.
The Livewire features our Carbon Nano Rod Technology, 3mm carbon rods embedded within the pressed core in an arc formation. This technology increases overall durability, high torsional flex, recoil response and impact absorption giving a more refined feel under foot. Combined with the 3D deck and Carbon Torsion Control, you get an amazing and harmonious flex pattern that cannot be compared to any other board.
Utilizing our ABS reinforced insert 2.0, a smoother shaped core and more reinforcement under foot, your boots have a complete connection to your board. With so much focus on durability and quality, the Livewire is the only board on the market with a two-year warranty that covers the use of boots/bindings.
The Livewire is designed with the Airush freestyle / wakestyle team to deliver a board that has all the necessary high-performance features. It is an incredibly durable board, ready to take the impact from sliders, kickers and high-powered landings.
Key Features
Deep Channel & Concave Combo Bottom
A: The core thickness runs throughout the boards 3D shape, from tip to tip and across the entire center. This creates our stiffest flex pattern.
B: The Tri-Rocker Channel Tips are designed to create 3 different rockers through the boards’ tips. This allows for maximum control and comfort when landing powered maneuvers.
C: The intermediate tip-to-width ratio sits in-between the Apex and the Switch outlines. The slightly pulled in tips on the Livewire allow for more controlled pop when transitioning into complex rotations and also ease correction on landings.
Carbon Nano Rod Technology
The Nano Rod tech, the biggest innovation in twintips, utilizes 3mm diameter carbon rods embedded through the paulownia wood core. This allows the board to have amazing torsional response and strength without needing to change core thicknesses and adding excessive layers of composite.
The unique arch formation featured in Nano Rod tech allows the board to have torsional twist. This torsional twist makes for a smoother ride, increased responsiveness, and improves load and pop while increasing durability in the core by distributing and absorbing the exerted load.
HD Grindrite Park Tech Base
The HD Grindrite base featured on the Livewire is our ultra durable multipurpose sintered base. The dual composite bottom sheet is self-lubricating, self-healing and highly abrasion resistant. This Grindrite Base makes the Livewire the perfect crossover board for competition wakestyle as well as for sliders and kickers.
