pattern with a zip free design pioneered and proven on our Cyclone range, using
Yamamoto #39 rubber the Mālama fits, feels and performs at the highest level. In line
with our durable design concept, the Mālama continues our mission to recalibrate
balance; putting durability at the centre of wetsuit design to make longer lasting
products.

The Mālama, goes one step further to solving the problem of post consumer neoprene
waste; FriendlyPrene with enhanced biodegradation, developed with our friends at
Yamamoto and EcoLogic LLC.

Mālama is a word deeply embedded in Hawaiian culture, referencing an action, a person, a way of life… mālama relates to
our environment, culture, and everything with which we interact. It is something we all should do more of everyday.

The Mālama wetsuit is the pinnacle of our ambition for a cleaner way to do wetsuits.

FriendlyPrene is designed to biodegrade in a biologically active landfill (appropriate facilities not available in all areas). ASTM D5511 tests, representing biologically
active landfills, show 30% in the first 522 days. FriendlyPrene uses OEKO-TEX certified linings made from recycled sources.

Dakine Mālama brings the highest level of performance and the lowest long term impact.
